Paul is a registered architect, public-sector design leader, and national expert in law enforcement and public safety facility planning. As Vice President of Government and Managing Partner for BKV Group’s Minneapolis region and the firm’s National Law Enforcement Practice Leader, he leads the planning, design, and delivery of complex civic and mission-critical facilities for municipalities and public agencies across the United States. His experience spans police stations, fire stations, public safety campuses, emergency response facilities, city halls, and specialized training environments, with a focus on aligning operational performance, community vision, and long-term value. Known for his collaborative leadership style and hands-on approach, Paul works closely with local governments, elected officials, law enforcement leadership, and stakeholder groups from early planning through construction, guiding projects with clear communication, technical expertise, and disciplined project delivery. In addition to leading complex public-sector projects throughout the Midwest and nationally, he plays a strategic role in advancing BKV Group’s government practice through client relationship development, mentoring emerging leaders, and contributing to thought leadership in civic and public safety design.
