A safe place for youth in crisis, Hope House serves youth in the Twin Cities’ southwest metro suburbs. Hope House is a short-term emergency shelter for youth ages 14 –19 who are experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, homelessness. It is the only youth shelter located west of Highway 100 in the greater Twin Cities. At Hope House, youth find emotional support, space and time to work through issues, and caring staff to help plan for the next step on their life journey. Youth live in a shared community, participate in group activities, can attend their regular school and activities, and access supportive services. Hope House is a partnership between 180 Degrees and the Open Hands Foundation.
