The Legends of Woodbury is a new senior living apartment complex comprising two buildings connected by a two-story central clubhouse. The project’s 216 affordable units consist of 66 one-bedroom, 90 two-bedroom, and 60 three-bedroom apartments. All units are restricted to households earning less than 60 percent of the Washington County Area Median Income (AMI), based on their household size. Their rents will also be restricted to the 60 percent area median income. The project has a total of 258 parking spaces with 167 enclosed below grade.
The site and building design feature a clearly defined sense of arrival along the east from Settlers Ridge Parkway to the central amenity building. The site features a pond with a fountain, well-appointed landscaping, and sidewalk connections throughout the site. A strong architectural presence is established by the main entry and covered porte cochere, as the building is broken into smaller elements with a two-story entry/amenity building flanked by two four-story housing wings.
The architectural aesthetic of The Legends of Woodbury is a contemporary take on traditional housing styles. The building features defined dormer expressions that encapsulate unit porches, strongly defined glassy corners. These elements are complemented by a rich palette of exterior materials and colors. In addition, the exterior materials feature quality building products of cast stone, brick, composite clad board siding, composite shake siding, and quality vinyl windows with low-e glass. This new housing development provides exciting lifestyle opportunities with multiple conveniences for residents. Amenities include an entry lounge, library, clubroom, social room, and fitness room. The building also features a theater, salon, a guest suite, and multiple outdoor gathering spaces.
