Introducing the Edina Community Health & Safety Center — a next-generation civic hub that brings emergency response, public-facing health services, and community gathering space together under one roof.

Designed in close partnership with the City of Edina and Kraus-Anderson, this 35,000+ SF facility replaces a small, outdated station while helping anchor a larger City-led redevelopment to transform a former industrial area into a new mixed-use neighborhood. Inside, the building balances “ready-at-a-moment’s-notice” operations with welcoming public amenities: five drive-through bays, ten bunk suites, fire admin and offices, community health spaces, a public community room, and a shared fitness center. And, because preparedness is part of public health, the project integrates robust training features, highlighted by a five-story training tower for ladder, hose, and rappel training, plus specialized rescue props to support regional technical response. Design that strengthens response. Space that supports wellness. A civic asset built for the way communities live today.
