In the recent Multi-Housing News feature, “How Student Housing Can Support Mental Health,” BKV Group’s Interior Design Practice Leader and Senior Partner, Kelly Naylor, weighed in on the subject, explaining BKV’s holistic approach to student health and well-being, weaving together design strategies focused on “the whole student.” 

In a study of 18,168 college students conducted last year by the College Student Mental Wellness Advocacy Coalition and its research partners, 70% of student respondents often or always felt stressed out, 63% were anxious or worried, and 61% felt overwhelmed.
