Originally built in 1936 for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, this 120,000-square-foot building sat vacant for years. In 2021, Carmel Partners acquired the property with BKV Group providing the Conceptual Design for the redevelopment.

Now, the Annex on 12th boasts 562 luxury apartments with top-tier amenities, while serving as a prime example of how vacant federal buildings can be successfully repurposed to meet modern housing needs.
