BKV @ ULI Washington’s UrbanPlan Event

ULI Washington’s UrbanPlan High School program held its final city councils of the 2023-2024 school year in June at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School.

There, twenty-six ULI Washington members — including BKV DC leaders, Garick Malcom (see right) and Warees Smith (see below) — worked with 148 BCCHS students on plans for revitalizing a community after the students learned about the fundamental forces that shape urban development. UrbanPlan volunteers support high school and university students, community groups, and public officials throughout the DC metropolitan area.
