A Special Senator Site Visit

BKV was honored to have Minnesota Senator, Tina Smith, and the USDA Undersecretary, Basil Gooden, visit the BKV-designed Howard Lake Library, the Midwest’s first Net Zero library.

Said Senator Smith, “Libraries are the heart of many communities — providing a place for learning, gathering, and connecting. With local, state, and federal funding, Howard Lake will be able to build an expanded, more accessible library the whole community will be able to enjoy.” With total completion expected this July, we are excited to share more with you come summer!
