Marketing Coordinator

Job Description
BKV Group is seeking a firmwide Marketing Coordinator to support both the creative and logistical aspects of our marketing efforts. This role will manage the production of marketing collateral, write compelling content for PR and thought leadership campaigns, assemble award submissions, and coordinate marketing logistics such as conferences, project photography, and event planning, plus social media and website updates. Reporting to the VP of Marketing & Business Development and the firmwide Director of Marketing, this position works closely with the national marketing and business development teams to help elevate BKV Group’s brand and strengthen our internal marketing operations.
- Collaborate with practice group leaders and business developers to drive messaging strategy, define narrative approach, and write copy for marketing content and create graphics that effectively engage clients.
- Work closely with the VP/DM to schedule, coordinate, and prepare for local and national events and conferences, including creating marketing collateral, managing event logistics, developing digital and e-communications, and more.
- Gather, format, and maintain accurate, up-to-date marketing information including staff bios, project descriptions and statistics, research briefs, and other information for marketing purposes.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the website and social media channels to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and highlights news, projects, leadership, and other firm initiatives.
- Update the firmwide CRM database with employee, project, and pursuit information on an ongoing basis to ensure marketing and business development teams have current data.
- Coordinate photography shoots with design and practice leaders, managing shot lists, schedules, and proper formatting and filing of project and staff images in alignment with BKV’s photography standards.
- Support our firmwide research initiatives for BKV’s development and government sectors, mining information about our competitors, our clients’ targets, in addition to architecture, construction, and demographic information in various U.S. markets.
- Assist in the development of award submittals, coordinate public relations efforts, and assist with special events aimed at growing our client subsets, and expanding our brand nationally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, Public Relations, English, or other related field.
- 3 – 5 years of related, professional experience with an exemplary background in marketing coordination, copywriting, graphic design, and/or research initiatives.
- Aptitude in Adobe Suite (most notably, InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, WordPress, and social media platforms is preferred.
- Experience using sales or client relationship management (CRM) tools and platforms.
- The ability to develop written and oral communications that clearly explain technical and design concepts, using easy to understand language and graphics.
- The ability to manage time and resources to produce and deliver project assignments under deadlines.
- The ability to thrive in a collaborative, engaging, fast-paced environment and work well with all levels of staff.
- Possess a solutions-focused mindset with an ability to work in ambiguity and pivot through the unexpected.
Compensation range: $60,000 – $65,000 annually, or commensurate with experience.
