CCA Cleveland Tops Out
With BKV spearheading the interior design portion of this latest City Club Apartments (CCA) project, it was a terrific to see the building reach the topping out phase with the final design including 304 apartments and penthouses plus street-level market, restaurant, bar, and retail spaces.

BKV Workshop’s Metamorphosis
Our design outreach group, BKV Workshop, is supporting artist Angela Two Stars with Metamorphosis –a two-sided mural representing the strength of the Longfellow neighborhood after the 2020 murder of George Floyd and subsequent uprisings that caused destruction and devastation to the area.

Shelby Commons Groundbreaking
Shelby Commons, a residential building entirely made up of affordable housing, reached a pivotal milestone towards creating a community which provides units for those making 30%, 50%, 60%, and 80% of the HUD Multifamily Tax Subsidy Projects income limits.

Crystal Towers Completes Approval Process
Dweck Properties and BKV Group’s Crystal Towers project has successfully completed the Arlington County 4.1 approval process. Together, Dweck and BKV were able to navigate the zoning requirements and approval process with the project receiving unanimous approval from the transportation and planning commissions.

BKV’s Inaugural Celebration of Juneteenth
This year, we asked our teams to make Juneteenth a “no-meeting” day to allow staff to observe the holiday how they choose, and thoughtfully allow pause to remember when Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas with the news that the more than 250,000 enslaved Black people in the state were free.

In the Minneapolis office, our Culture Committee brought back the office putt-putt challenge with each of our in-house disciplines setting up a golf hole with found materials in the office. The result, a very creative, nine-hole course with the Marketing/IT/Finance team being named the winners – FORE!
