Update at the City of Dallas

For the City of Dallas, BKV Group with MW Studios are wrapping up the campus master plan for the Dallas Public Safety Facility.

Our team reviewed the condition of the existing structures to determine suitability for continued long-term use and the implications of renovation/expansion, then met with each user group to discuss their operations and space needs, including allowances for future growth. Fire Training will remain a major tenant of the site, but will see a new classroom building to accommodate the large volume of cadets required by one of the nation’s largest departments and a new apparatus storage building. In addition, a new network of training streets and alleys will surround a combination of existing and new props including a five story drill tower, a simulation lab, urban search and rescue, and a swift water rescue course.
