Kid Zone Early Learning Center has provided robust whole-child early education for over thirty years, with a curriculum centered on a child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. To advance its mission, the organization engaged BKV Group to facilitate Kid Zone’s relocation from a former church classroom building into a former medical office building transformed to meet Kid Zone’s operational and curricular needs. The building was fully reconfigured on the interior, replacing three dozen office and treatment rooms with seven classrooms, an indoor large motor play space, administrative offices, and a full-service commercial kitchen. In addition, the project included the creation of new dedicated outdoor play spaces and areas for the school’s gardens.
