David has been involved in the Senior Living sector since 1999, and has been at the forefront of industry discussions through his affiliations with the AIA Design for Aging Knowledge Community, Environments for Aging (EFA) Conference, and the American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA). Throughout his career, David has developed an astute understanding of the evolving global trends amongst seniors, and he has applied innovative principles to a range of communities, including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care facilities. Additionally, David has successfully managed the planning and design of affordable housing and retirement communities, senior living developments, and multifamily residential projects. He’s also consulted as an Owner’s representative during the construction of two Life Plan Communities, and with the aging process being universal, David has consistently been invited to give educational lectures nationally and internationally.
