Just steps from Syracuse University, The Standard at Syracuse is taking shape as a new purpose-built student housing community designed to elevate the off-campus living experience.
For the 2026–27 academic year, the community will deliver more than 600 beds across 210 residences, with floor plans ranging from studios to five-bedroom apartments. Beyond the residences, a robust amenity program blends spaces for academics, wellness, and social connection — including a fitness center, study lounges, rooftop terraces, and resident gathering spaces. A defining feature of the project is the transformation of the historic Temple Concord sanctuary into “The Temple,” a distinctive 4,750-square-foot lounge and study environment that preserves a piece of Syracuse history while giving it new life as a centerpiece of the student experience. As construction progresses toward completion, we’re excited to see BKV Group’s design come to life, creating a community that pairs contemporary student living with a strong connection to campus, place, and the surrounding University Hill neighborhood.
