For Spotsylvania County Fire Station 3, the goal was to craft a state-of-the-art facility that serves the crew as thoughtfully as they serve their community. Spanning roughly 14,000 square feet in Partlow, Virginia, this single-story facility was designed with operational flow, crew wellness, and building longevity at its core; featuring 3 apparatus bays for efficient response times, decontamination areas, and ample living quarters for the crew. Good civic architecture should do more than look great on opening day—it should actively support the health, efficiency, and well-being of the people who rely on it every single day.
